Dexter Palmer

Dexter Palmer is the author of The Dream of Perpetual Motion, selected by Kirkus Reviews as one of the best debut works of fiction published in 2010. He received a bachelor’s degree from Stetson University, and master’s and doctorate degrees from Princeton University (where he staged the first academic conference ever held at an Ivy League university on the subject of video games). His doctoral dissertation was an analysis of formal aspects of novels by James Joyce, William Gaddis, and Thomas Pynchon. He lives in Princeton, New Jersey.
