Joe Klein is an award-winning journalist and the author of seven books, including the #1 bestseller Primary Colors and most recently Charlie Mike: A True Story of Heroes who Brought their Mission Home. His weekly Time column, “In the Arena,” covers US politics, elections, and foreign policy and has won two National Headliner Awards for best magazine column. Previously, he served as Washington correspondent for the New Yorker and as a political columnist for Newsweek. Klein is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a former Guggenheim fellow.
