This is why I love the web: I can hear the voice of a poet whose work I have fallen in love with.

Ah, so this is the voice of Sharon Olds.

Now when I read her work I will hear her better.

I can't read Sharon Olds without feeling like leaping into writing - inspired - but listening to her, those powerful lines, that soft voice, the rhythm, I've been to a great concert, my ears left ringing, my brain abuzz. And what I hear coming from myself is a deep rich ahhh.
