Tennessee William's sister Rose was the inspiration for the character of Laura in The Glass Menagerie. He bought the house at the corner of Von Phister and Grinnell for Miss Rose, where she lived for many years.

2008 Scholarship Program. We have embarked on a robust financial assistance program and could certainly use your support. You may make a gift of any amount which will be used exclusively for scholarships for new writers. Just indicate that purpose when you make your contribution.Ask us how you can endow a scholarship similar to the Joyce Horton Johnson Fiction Award.
