Members of our Patrons Circle help us continue our mission now and in the years ahead. Together we will promote the understanding and discussion of important literary works and their authors; recognize and support new voices in American literature; and preserve and promote Key West’s literary heritage while providing resources that strengthen literary culture.

We suggest the following levels of giving, listed here with the benefits received by our Patrons.

$250 and up

—Listing of your name in our annual program
—Check-in at dedicated Patrons Circle Desk on day of Seminar

$1,000 and up

includes the above benefits, and:
—Invitation to Patrons Only registration period

$2,500 and up

includes the above benefits, and:
—Reserved seating for two at the Seminar.

$5,000 and up

includes the above benefits, and:
—Guaranteed admission for two to sold-out events.
—Special gift: rare book or other literary collectible.

$10,000 and up

includes the above benefits, and:
—Invitation for two to annual writers’ & directors’ party.

the fine print

1. Registration fee of $575.00 per person must be paid in full at all gift levels.
2. Calendar: Benefits remain in effect for 12 months after gift is received.
3. Patrons Only Registration: Donors of $1000 or more may register for the 2018 Seminar from February 1-3, 2017. General registration will begin on February 6 on a first-come, first-served basis. “Patrons Only” registrations must be paid for in full (refundable until June 30) and will be limited to two per $1000 gift. No special privileges extended after close of the three-day period.
4. Reserved Seating: Patrons at the $2500 level who are registered for the Seminar may reserve two seats of their choice throughout the Seminar. Seats may be reserved on Thursday, prior to the keynote address. Reserved seats that are unoccupied when a session begins may be given away to general audience members at the discretion of KWLS staff.
5. Guaranteed Admission: Patrons at the $5,000 level may register two people for any event, even if it is sold out, at any time. Patrons at the $5,000 level who have registered during the “Patrons Only” or general registration periods may transfer the privilege of guaranteed admission to two people of the Patron’s choosing. Registrations must be paid for in full and will be limited to two per $5000 gift.
The Key West Literary Seminar is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt charitable institution under Section 501(c)(3) and all contributions are deductible for federal income tax purposes. Our federal tax ID is 59-2807058. The Key West Literary Seminar has complied with the registration requirements of Chapter 496, Florida Statutes, the Solicitation of Contributions Act. Registration Number: CH34555. A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services by calling 1-800-435-7352. Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the State.
