Young novelists Rivka Galchen and Charles Yu and veteran science and technology figures James Gleick and Robert Krulwich have been added to the roster of panelists for “Yet Another World,” the 30th annual Key West Literary Seminar, to be held January 5-8, 2012.

Galchen has an MD with a focus in psychiatry from Mount Sinai School of Medicine and is the author of the 2009 Atmospheric Disturbances, named a New York Times Notable Book.

Yu received the National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 Award for his story collection Third Class Superhero and is also a full-time lawyer in Los Angeles.

Gleick is the author of The Information: A History, a Theory, a Flood, currently burning up the charts and drawing reviews in virtually every major paper in North America. Earlier books include Chaos, Genius: The Life and Science of Richard Feynman, and Isaac Newton, all three of which were nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. Gleick is a KWLS board member and is the program chair for “Yet Another World.” He will moderate the 2012 sessions along with Krulwich, who is a correspondent for NPR’s Science Desk, ABC News, and the PBS investigative series Frontline, as well as co-host of the popular series Radio Lab. His specialty is explaining complex news—economics, technology, science—in a style that is clear, compelling and entertaining.
