The Fine Print

1. Registration fee must be paid in full at all gift levels in order to attend the Seminar and/or Writers’ Workshop Program.
2. Calendar: Benefits remain in effect for 12 months after gift is received or until the benefit has been used once, whichever takes place first.
3. The Patrons Dinner takes place during the annual Seminar, typically on Friday or Saturday night.
4. Patrons Only Registration: Donors of $1000 or more are invited to register early for the Seminar by special invitation. “Patrons Only” registrations must be paid for in full (refundable until June 30) and will be limited to two per $1000 gift. No special registration privileges extended after close of the early registration period.
5. Reserved Seating: Patrons at the $5,000 level who are registered for the Seminar may reserve two seats of their choice throughout the Seminar. Reserved seat arrangements must be made prior to the keynote address.
6. Guaranteed Admission: Patrons at the $5,000 level may register two people for the Seminar, even if it is sold out, at any time. Alternately, Patrons at this level may enroll in a workshop, even if it is full, at any time prior to September 1. Normal registration fees and Workshop application requirements still apply.
7. Special Events: In addition to the main Seminar program, we host a series of more private receptions and opportunities for our visiting writers and other distinguished guests. Patrons at the $5,000 level will receive an invitation to one of these special events. Patrons at the $10,000 level will be invited to all special events, including our annual Writers & Directors dinner, held on the eve of the Seminar, and a sailing excursion with our presenters.
8. Annual Review of Patrons Benefits: We review Patrons benefits periodically and reserve the right to make changes deemed necessary. If and when changes are made, we will provide notification to current patrons.
The Key West Literary Seminar is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt charitable institution under Section 501(c)(3) and all contributions are deductible for federal income tax purposes. Our federal tax ID is 59-2807058. The Key West Literary Seminar has complied with the registration requirements of Chapter 496, Florida Statutes, the Solicitation of Contributions Act. Registration Number: CH34555.
