Our Writers’ Workshop Program provides writers at all stages of development with opportunities to explore the craft of writing. Each workshop has its own focus and application requirements. Enrollment is limited to twelve participants per workshop to ensure individual attention. Advanced workshops require a writing sample as part of the application; mixed levels workshops are open to writers of all levels, and require only a cover letter for consideration.
Note that the Workshop Program is distinct from the Seminar and takes place immediately after it. Combining both programs offers an invaluable experience; however, it is possible to attend either a workshop or the Seminar on its own.
Spaces are reserved in each workshop for scholarship winners and financial aid recipients. If you would like to apply for financial aid and a workshop is listed as full, please do not be deterred. Apply for financial assistance.
Additionally, we are offering add-on sessions on three afternoons called “The Writer’s Toolkit,” taught by Lynne Griffin. Please see below for details.
Next year’s Workshop and Writer’s Toolkit programs will be announced this spring.
